User Interface Design
Cascadia Green Development
We teamed up Cascadia Green Development to design and build a new website that showcased their scope of work including residential, commercial and mixed-use developments completed across Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley.
Since being founded by Farzad Mazarei in 2009, Cascadia Green Development has been a frontrunner in innovative and affordable residential projects.
They came to us to design and build a entirely new website that conveyed the reputation of integrity, quality work and our commitment to innovation in the green building industry.
Before design began, we audited the client’s existing website. We distilled the content within an information architecture to develop the story-telling and user journey for the Cascadia Green Developments new website.
Once the IA was complete, a wireframe was built to determine how the content would be laid out, how content could be written and what visual elements would be required. Once approved, high-fidelity mockups were built to ensure all visual components and content aligned with the client’s expectations.
DESIGN COLLATERAL
—
With a growing client base, there was an opportunity to build awareness outside of the virtual world, through various promotional pieces that aligned with the principals of Dr. Patricia Mills's Wholist health services.
VISUAL LANGUAGE
The colour palette was developed that represented the Wholistic focus Dr. Patricia Mills utilized to improve the health of women she worked with. It was important to convey strength, vibrancy, intelligence and stability within the Dr. Patricia Mills brand, as these repsresent Mr. Mills and her practice. This is paired with the Rubik typefaces to create a unique, geometric and organic aesthetic.
